The word "chiropractic" means "to be done by hand". Doctors of Chiropractic focus on the prevention, diagnosis and conservative care of the spine and joints of the body. In addition to spinal adjustments, Dr. Fair may provide soft-tissue therapies, lifestyle recommendations, fitness coaching and nutritional advice.
At Back to Balance we do not recommend routine Chiropractic x-ray. If the clinicians feel advanced imaging is medically necessary the patient will be referred to a radiology facility of their choice.
We specialize in non-narcotic practices in healing pain such as headaches, chronic pain, sciatica pain, joint pain, and back pain. We use an array of proven methods such as acupuncture, chiropractic care, cupping, trigger point therapy, electro-acupuncture, clinical nutrition and physical rehabilitation. Our goal is to treat and relieve your pain permanently instead of using pharmaceuticals for temporary relief.
Acupuncture describes a clearly defined medical technique in which fine, solid needles are inserted into specifically charted acupuncture points based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Acupuncturists in Pennsylvania are required to obtain at a minimum a Master's Degree in Acupuncture as well as hold a
State Medical License.
Acupuncture is minimally invasive and extremely safe when practiced by a properly trained and licensed professional. Although not "sensation free" acupuncture treatment should not be a painful experience. Patients rest comfortably during treatment and often fall asleep.
